1.Pick an exercise – any exercise – and make sure you DO IT! Once a day, every day, for sixty minutes. If you can’t do this, don’t bother reading any further.
2.Drink lots of water, all day every day. It keeps your body in prime health, and keeps your stomach full, making you less hungry.
3.Cut out fats. You know where they are. Stop eating them.
4.Don’t fry anything – broil, boil, steam, microwave, poach but DON’T fry.
5.Unless you know exactly what you’re doing – cut out take-aways and restaurant/fast food.
6.Cut out – yes, you’ve guessed it – anything with sugar in it, candies, cookies, cakes and even fruit.
7.Get plenty of sleep. Don’t ask why, just do it.
8.Eat breakfast. You do yourself no favours by missing it out.
9.Once you have eaten your evening meal, eat nothing else until breakfast.
10.Weigh yourself weekly, not daily. The body is not a machine, it loses weight in an inconsistent manner, so sometimes it is possible to weigh yourself one day and discover that – despite sticking to your program – you have actually gained weight. This can be very demoralizing, so don’t do it.
